I said Babe, I don't know why but I can't get to sleep
There's something deep inside and it's troubling me
I said Babe, are you listening to me?
The thunder rolls outside and the ligtening flashes nearby
I turn and look at him with a lonely tear in my eye
I said Babe, maybe it's time for you leave.
and he said I can't understand what went wrong
I thought we were getting along
but it's deeper than than and you swore
it'd never be the same as before
and I just can't do this anymore
He said Oh, I hate to ask but is all this about her?
but frankly, what else could it be,
seeing as nothing else has occured?
I said I don't want to think about it
Feeding me all the lines, he said But I was thinking of you the whole time
I said Get out, and stay until I do'nt have to listen to lies
How could you?
She even has my name
and I said I can't understand what went wrong
I thought we were getting along
but it's deeper than than and you swore
it'd never be the same as before
and I just can't do this anymore
